HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Problem:
Every time the wind blows, there’s a desperate battle to keep skirts and dresses down. It’s an awkward struggle faced by many, with often embarrassing results.
Our Solution!
Stay Dress pins have been designed to add weight to skirts and dresses to minimise the chances of them being blown up in the wind, as well as provide wearers with extra time in which to react. Aside from solving a common problem, Stay Dress gives people the confidence to wear their favourite skirts and dresses in any weather!
HOW TO USE IT?
Each set of Stay Dress pins contains 4 weighted metal pins (approx 9g each), which are discreetly attached from the inside of your skirt or dress (2 on each side) with a clear PVC backing attachment facing outwards. Attach pins on the side hemlines of the skirt or dress, making sure to press the PVC backing firmly to secure the pins into place.
The total weight of the pins is such that it adds sufficient weight, but should not cause distortion to the skirt or dress. Furthermore the outward facing component of the pins are clear so they do not interfere with the colour and pattern of the skirt or dress.
Stay Dress pins have been tested in the streets of Melbourne. The feedback was exactly as we’d hoped. Our customers confirmed that the pins assisted in keeping their dresses and skirts down on windy days, acting as a sort of 'helping hand.' Pleasingly, they also noted that the pins were ‘discreet’ and that their dresses and skirts remained ‘comfortable.’

The pin will assist in most weather conditions, but please be mindful in extreme weather. When attaching our pins to the side hemlines of your dresses and skirts, please be aware that some delicate fabrics (eg. silk, cashmere, tulle etc) may not be the most suitable dress fabric to attach our pins too and may damage when punctured. Please attach at your own risk. If you have sensitive skin and is prone to skin reactions, please be aware that our pins are made from zinc alloy metal. Please note, zinc alloy metals (which are also used in lapel pins) do not contain any nickel or lead and therefore pose no risk of allergic reaction when worn directly against the skin.
